Import Webpage Snapshots

DoCube's webpage snapshot import feature helps you permanently preserve valuable web pages. Imported webpages support annotations and search, making webpage content truly become part of your knowledge base assets.

Import by Entering URL in DoCube

Navigate to note.text.badge.plus > Import > Webpage, enter the URL and press Return, wait for the page to finish loading

Navigate to note.text.badge.plus > Import > Webpage, enter the URL and tap "Go", wait for the page to finish loading

Navigate to ellipsis.circle > Import > Webpage, enter the URL and tap "Go", wait for the page to finish loading

Import via Safari Share

Click the Safari share button square.and.arrow.up in the top-right corner, find docube Send to DoCube in the share menu and click it, it will automatically jump to DoCube's webpage import interface, wait for the page to finish loading, if you don't see DoCube in the list, refer to Enable "Share to DoCube" on Mac.

DoCube does not record any of your data on web pages. If a webpage requires login to access, it's recommended to log in in Safari first, then use the share feature to import. Avoid entering login information in DoCube.

Import Options

DoCube supports one-click removal of distracting elements on web pages eye.slash Hide Non-content Elements , keeping only the main content for a clean reading experience. Also supports importing as Markdown format, richtext.page Import as Markdown for easy editing later.

Manual Erasing

If one-click erasing is not effective enough, you can switch to manual erasing mode through the eraser.fill Erase Unwanted Content button, you can repeat operations multiple times until satisfied. Exit erasing mode before proceeding with import.

Erasing operation instructions are as follows

  • Select Element: Move mouse or trackpad to select elements to delete, red background indicates element is selected
  • Delete Element: Click selected element
  • Undo and Redo: Use keyboard shortcuts cmd + z or cmd + shift + z
  • Complete: eraser.fill Complete Erasing
  • Select Element: Directly tap element, red background indicates element is selected
  • Delete Element: Tap trash button
  • Undo and Redo: Tap undo and redo buttons
  • Complete: complete
  • Select Element: Directly tap element, red background indicates element is selected
  • Delete Element: Tap trash button
  • Undo and Redo: Tap undo and redo buttons
